The Media Center is closed after school today.



Seniors - The deadline for senior photos for the yearbook is today  Wednesday. It is imperative that you have your photographer submit your photo via email to the DHSChargerYearbook@midlandps.org by November 27. It is your responsibility to make sure that the photo and copyright permission has been received. Please see Mrs. Hall in room 218 if you have any questions. If you do not submit your photo on time, we cannot guarantee that you will be featured in the yearbook.


Attention Book Clubbers, next Monday, Dec 2nd after 6th hour we will be watching The Giver in Mrs. Nelson’s room. The movie is optional, however, after 7th hour, every member of book club must meet to have our yearbook photo taken. Please attend! 



Pop cans, pop cans, pop cans! The Student Leadership pop can drive is officially ending Friday, December 6th. We've already received many bags of pop cans but the more the better! The winning class will receive free popcorn! 



Dow High leadership is holding a gingerbread house competition! all you need to do is make a gingerbread house and send in photos to either Isabella McDaniel or Dana Salisbury by the 13th of December. Once all the photos have been sent in the best house for each grade will be voted on. Whichever grade wins will earn class points! Get to decorating chargers!


Want to show off your holiday spirit? Deck the halls is here! An email has been sent to third hour teachers with a google form they must fill out if they’d like to participate in deck the halls. If participating, third hour classroom will be in charge of decorating their doors. Later, the school will vote on the best decorated classroom door and the winner will be announced at the Christmas assembly. You can begin decorating whenever, but you must be done by the 12th of December because all voting begins the 16th and ends the 18th.  Happy Decorating Chargers!!!

Dow High Poetry Club "Verses the World" will have a quick tranquil writing session today Tuesday after seventh hour.






Last night the Charger hockey team opened up its season last night with a 6-3 victory over FNV.  Billy VanSumeren led the way with 2 goals and 1 assist. Other goal scorers were Nolan Sanders, Lucas Churchfield. Luke Blasy and Austin Ieuter.  Assists went to Alec Newton, Ryan Stadelmaier, John Wagner, and Charley Johnson. Collin Lemanski was in net for Dow and he made 21 saves.
