Hey Chargers!

If this sounds like you and you are interested in helping make the world a little greener, we invite you to come to the first GO GREEN meeting next Monday, September 9th to be held at 2:30 and 3:30 in room 220.


There are no dues and no obligations... you can be involved in any projects that interest you and can even start your own. 


Check us out next Monday after school with awesome new ideas to go green and keep the world clean!




Come find out at our first meeting Tuesday, September 10th, in room 353. Meetings will be held before school at 7:10, After 6th hour at 2:30 or after 7th hour at 3:30



The first National Honor Society meeting of the year will be Thursday, September 12th for about twenty minutes, which both probationary and inducted members are expected to attend one. The times are before school at 7:10, after sixth hour at 2:30, and after the seventh hour at 3:30.


Attention all CURRENT CO-OPs


 There is a mandatory co-op meeting on Thursday, September 5 in room 353. The meetings are at 7:00 am and 3:00 pm, choose which meeting works best with your schedule. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Royalty


Hey Key Clubbers!


 We hope you had a great summer break. The 2019-2020 board is excited to be back and has lots of fun things in store. Mark your calendars because Key Club 101 is this Friday, September 6th after 7th hour. Make sure to come by to meet the board and learn all about Dow's Key Club. There will be snacks! 




Picture day is scheduled for Monday, September 9.  

Please get your picture form from your 3rd hour teacher.


Charger Shoppe


To celebrate the first week back in school, The Charger Shoppe has dropped the price on Dippin’ Dots!!

This week only, you can get Dippin’ Dots for $3.00. 







Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this winter. There will be a brief informational meeting Tuesday the 10th in Coach Theisen's Room 118 at 2:30. If you plan on playing basketball this winter it is important to attend this meeting.


Anyone interested in playing Dow High Baseball in the Spring.  There will be an organizational meeting this Friday September 6th at 2:45 in the loft.  The meeting will only last 10 minutes and you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff. 


Last night in Sports


The Dow Jv Soccer won 8-0 vs Hemlock to move to 7-0-1 on the season.  Hayden Baus had 1 save and recorded his 6th shutout of the season. Scoring for the Chargers was Sam Senkowski, and Nick Pisarczyk with 2 goals apiece, and Santiago Lopez, Jack Wolohan, Isaac Skinner, and Chip Shumaker each had a goal.  Alex Futter and Jonah Dahn each had 2 assists, while Sean Hansen, Isaac Skinner, and Drew Soto each had an assist. Dow next heads to Lapeer to play the Lightning today at 5 pm. 


JV volleyball dropped a tough decision to Grand Blanc last night in 3 sets.  Leading the team in kills were Halle Reid with 7 and Abbey Rey with 5. Makena Saylor handed out 6 assists.  Grace Militello had 11 digs on defense. Halle Reid had 5 aces with Makena Saylor and Grace Militello adding 3 each.  Come watch out exciting team next week when we host Mount Pleasant.


Dow varsity Volleyball  lost to grand Blanc in 4 sets

 15-25, 17-25, 25-21, 23-25.

Laura Hershauer has 28 assists, 8 digs.

Haley Jaster has 12 kills, 3 blocks

Jenna Somers has 19 digs, 3 aces.


Dow Freshman won all 3 sets last night vs grand Blanc.
