“Attention Dow High staff and students. It is now time for TableTalk stories. Our entry today is from an anonymous student: Every Saturday morning, I like to volunteer at a hospital. I don’t do this for NHS, I do this because every time I go there, I always see families come together to support the patient laying in bed. And it reminds me of how mine used to do that for my grandmother before she passed away from cancer. Volunteering there makes me miss her but it also reminds me that she’s in a better place now.

Remember to text 81010 @dowhighmi to share your story.”

Varsity Volleyball lost in 5 sets in the district finals to Mount Pleasant.  Chinasa Okoro had 7 kills, Isabel Velasquez had 17 kills, Charis Queary had 32 assists, Ainsley Lacey had 26 digs.  A huge Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the volleyball program this year!
