H.H. Dow High School
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Attention Dow High Staff and Students! It’s now time for TableTalk! Both of our entries today are anonymous. Here’s the first one: “Life is what you make of it. Make a decision every morning that you will try to make today better than the day before. And think of one way you can do that. Doesn't have to be hard, even simple things can have an impact. Could be by helping yourself, by helping others, or by helping this awesome planet! Every day we can make a positive difference in this world, if we choose to.” Here’s our second story for today: “I’m a junior at Dow, and I’m struggling. I’ve tried my best to keep up with my school curriculum, but I feel like even my best isn’t good enough. I’m usually a very reserved person, but I’m hoping that speaking up will show someone else that they’re not alone. If you feel this way too, just know that you’re not the only one.” Thanks to all who have contributed, but we are running out of stories! If you felt moved by any of our stories, know that you can have the same impact. Text @dowhighmi to 81010 today
Congratulations to Fatimah Khan, Maryn Brown, Anna Kozel and Breanna Prince--winners of the “Creativity Contest” sponsored by the Cultural Awareness Coalition! Dow Library Auditorium. You make Dow High School proud, Fatimah Khan, Maryn Brown, Anna Kozel, and Breanna Prince!
Attention Chargers! Let’s end this week right by continuing to separate trash from recyclables in the cafeteria. All food waste goes in the grey trash barrels, NOT the blue recycling bins. Thank you for your consideration and remember to think before you throw!
