Dow Midland week


Is coming up fast chargers, and you know what that means. Super fan is back, so remind your third hours to start getting ready for auditions starting next week. Teachers or students who want more information please contact Paige Messick or Hailey Tanis.


Blood Drive


Attention staff and students! Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? if so, come on out to the blood drive Friday, October 26th that will be held in the loft all day during school. Sign up outside the office during both lunches or talk to Izzy Velasquez, Emma Meitler, Sydney Block, or Logan McNamara about more details! Lets save some lives chargers!




Sign up to earn college credit for your HL IB classwork!  Your IB teachers will be sharing information with you this week.



This month's National Honor Society meeting will be tomorrow Thursday, October 11 for about twenty minutes, which both probationary and inducted members are expected to attend one of. The times are 7:10 in the Little Theater, after sixth hour in the cafeteria, and after seventh hour in the Little Theater. Plan to arrive before 7:10 for the morning meeting.

Hey chargers! Come help us build the greenhouse this weekend! Bring anyone you know with construction knowledge. Meet in the staff parking lot behind the school by the tennis courts. be there at 9! Snacks are provided.

Clothing Drive

Dow High is putting on a clothing drive Monday 15th - Friday 19th. Students are encouraged to donate clothes and hygiene products. If you as staff/parents have professional attire or other clothes you would like to donate, please do!

A Little Bit of Love's second meeting is Monday, October 15th in Mrs. Hockemeyer's room, room 372. We will be doing a phone blitz to ask local businesses for donations and making signs. There will be food! Stop by after 6th and 7th hour."  


Canada Club


Come to Canada Club, the next meeting will be today, Wednesday, October 10th, at 7:05 in Mr. McNamara’s room (room 109). We’ll take a look at Canadian Current events, eat some timbits, and make locker signs! We hope to see you there!




JV Volleyball defeated Arthur Hill last night. Leaders for the chargers were Taylor huschky with 13 aces, Giselle Mahoney with 2 kills and 3 aces, Carina Gipson had 2 kills, Alexa Kolnitys had 3 aces 1 kill and 5 assists.  JV is back in action tomorrow against Clio at home.


Varsity Volleyball beat Arthur Hill 25-9, 25-7, 25-6.  Charis Queary had 14 aces & 11 assists. Hailey Tanis had 6 kills & 7 aces.  Chinasa Okoro had 3 aces & 4 kills.



After a scoreless game, Andrey Hofius, Jordan Plewa and Tyler Lyman buried their penalty kicks and Zach Archbold made a big save in a shootout to seal the victory over visiting SVL South Champion Grand Blanc last night.  The win results in the third consecutive SVL Championship for your Chargers. Congratulations Charger soccer! Next game is Thursday at Frankenmuth.
