This week the MRD, Dow’s political and economic discussion club, will be discussing, critiquing, and learning about some figures and organizations that have been developing in our times. Prof. Jordan Peterson, speaker and author Ben Shapiro and Sen. Bernie Sander are among the chief individuals we will discuss alongside an analysis of Prager University. If you have any thoughts on these or other issues, historical events, ideas, or individuals we would love to see you at the MRD’s meeting this Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:15; you can also get more info or submit your own ideas for discussion topics by emailing Luke Mavis.

Let’s grow smarter together!

Attention MUN participants and anyone who may be involved! We will be having an informational meeting next Wednesday, Oct 3. If you are interested, please come to this meeting. "Wrestlers, there will be no workout after school today due to the opening day of bow season. Workouts will resume Wednesday from 3-4:15 in the wrestling room."

Attention Dow High staff and students! Look around the room you’re sitting in right now. What shaped them to become the person they are right now? Now focus on yourself. Every single one of us has a story to share. A new student-led project, TableTalk, run by Kavya and Karnika Chandra, is challenging you to share these messages with us. The question we want to ask you is, “What message would you like to share with the world?” Pull out your phones, enter 81010 and text “@dowhighmi” to submit your response. Your story may be shared anonymously over the announcements! Remember, our goal is to help bring our community closer and we hope you join us in this action!
